Job Summary:
Ultratech, Inc. is seeking an individual with a field service background in Lithography, AP Operations and Maintenance training or with the Stepper product to join the team supporting customers in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for onsite installation, servicing and repair of various systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; customer service focused and communicates effectively and persuasively. Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

Job Duties:
 Perform on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems; present a positive image of the company and department.
 Provide technical assistance to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of various products.  Serve as customer contact on technical and service related problems.
 Diagnose the mechanical, hardware, software and system failure using established procedures.  Determine most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime.
 Provide warranty and service coverage for Ultratech products.
 Maintain close communications with customers regarding all actions needed to assure maximum utilization of customer’s equipment.
 Review customer operational procedures and expectations; may work with service management to recommend ways to improve support and customer satisfaction.
 May provide training assistance to customer staff members responsible for running and maintaining equipment.
 Keep personal records of travel schedules and expenses; maintain accurate time logs for customer and payroll submissions; keep track of all allocated company assets; spare parts and tools; accurately complete and promptly submits all necessary paperwork.
 Must be able to travel extensively both domestically and internationally on short notice.
 Must be able to take shifts and on-call service.

Experience/Education Required:
 Associate or Bachelor degree in electronics, robotics, computer science, mechanical engineering or related field.
 Minimum of six years experience in field service support with ideally four years in Lithography or Stepper.
 Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers to resolve technical equipment issue.
 Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while ensuring customer satisfaction.
 Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
 Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
 Ability to work in a team environment.
 Ability to produce and present reports; participate in facilitation of customer meetings.
 Reading and Writing fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
