The QA Manager of SCBU SW will lead a team working on various software releases for AMD advanced SoC. The candidate will play a key role to ensure the quality of multiple software deliverables on-time to customers and internal teams, who needs the following: 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Working in close collaboration with the SW engineering teams and Platform/Validation teams on the various efforts involved in the definition and implementation of various projects and scoping QA testing efforts and project schedules.
• Responsible for the comprehensive software test plan used to insure compliance to specification and that overall quality goals are achieved.
• Lead team to ensure system software (BIOS, Driver and Firmware, etc.) are tested properly and delivered to customer and internal engineering teams on time before and after the silicon arrival.
• Lead team to Identify and help resolve various software, ASIC, board and firmware issues, provide diagnostics support to external customers and internal engineering teams
• Provides technical guidance and training to grow engineers and technicians in the planning, test, & analysis of the system software development
• Manage quality review audits and drive best quality practice.
• Plan and conduct test centric Post Mortem evaluation/review.

REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in developing test plans/strategies and ability to collaborate cross team to define measurement for quality, assess risk and mitigation plan
• Excellent communication and team collaboration
• Strong testing mentality and an eye for quality defects.
• Strong debugging and technical problem solving skills, as well as a passion to solve hard, ambiguous problems.
• Hands-on experience with x86 silicon, platform or software validation.
• Hands-on experience working with Lean/Agile software development practices is a plus.
• 8+ years of QA or Validation Test engineering experience and closely interact with software designers
• 5+ years of engineering experience managing QA or Validation testing team
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. In EE or CS or equivalent is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English
