Installation Engineer

Job Duties:
 Install and qualify Ultratech’s product at customer site with minimum supervision.
 Act as project manager/install site manager dealing with all aspects of tool installation and customer interface as needed.
 Serves as primary customer contact for technical problems and questions.
 Perform on-site or in-house servicing, repair and or installation.
 Provide technical support to customers on operational maintenance aspects of system equipment.
 Set priorities and monitor progress according to established field requirements; meet regularly with customers to follow up back issues; communicate results with managers.
 Determines most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime.
 Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues.
Experience and Education required:
 B. S. Degree in Engineering or equivalent 4 yr degrees.
 Minimum of 5 yrs experience in field service/installation engineer experience with concentration on LSA tools working with capital equipment in semiconductor industry.
 May require travel up to 50% of job responsibilities.
 Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers to resolve technical equipment issue.
 Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while ensuring customer satisfaction.
 Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
 Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
 Ability to work in a team environment.
 Ability to produce and present reports; participate in facilitation of customer meetings.
 Reading and Writing fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
