Position Description
ON Semiconductor’s Medical & Wireless Products Division creates standard and custom semiconductor solutions in the portable medical and 4G+ smartphone RF markets. For our standard solutions, we rely on a team of Application Engineers to help our top customers design our solutions into their products. The successful candidate will provide expert technical support to our customers, helping to integrate our product into various medical and wireless devices. This candidate will ultimately be responsible for the product training, onsite technical support, and collecting market feedback and insights.

What you’ll do:
 Help our Sales teams and our customer to design our chips into their products,
 Provide excellent on-site customer support for technical applications.
 Clearly understand, address, and solve customer issues, working closely with the Design team to provide accurate customer feedback.
 Coordinate work with local FAEs and key distributions FAEs to support customers.
 Train local customers and the local channel team on new products, features, and performance changes.
 Create and support product application notes, and various other technical documents.
 Collect customer feedback, and help to shape future products to address changing markets.
 Design and develop sales strategies aligned with business unit objectives aimed for profitable growth
 Develop business relationships within Asia region customers and key distribution partners in Asia.
 Regular travel in Asia & moderate travel to Canada required. Primary focus within China region.

Position Requirements
- Undergraduate technical degree: Electrical, computer, mechatronics engineering or similar.
- Experience in consumer and medical electronics design and production. (DSP Audio)
- Resourcefulness: eager to succeed in the face of a challenge.
- Effective communication skills. Must present well in front of a customer.
- Ability to travel internationally: Canada, China, Taiwan and Korea as a minimum.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word etc.
- Must have excellent verbal (presentation) and written communication skills.
- C++C, basic
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English.

Preferred but not required:
- Experience in audio processing, wireless audio, miniature design, LTE/4G protocols.
- Experience in low-power wireless technologies: Bluetooth LE, magnetic induction, protocols, etc.
- Experience with PCB design and tools: schematic capture and layout.
- Knowledge of medical quality and design standards.
- Experience with hearing aid industry a plus.
