BD Manager/Government Affairs Manager

EDUCATION
BS/BA or equivalent in training and/or experience.

EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
Minimum three years related experience in business development or government affairs, minimum five years experiences of working in an office environment, experienced leadership is preferred
Semiconductor industry background is preferable
Excellent public relations, communication and presentation skills
Strong relationship management and business development skills
Good verbal and written language skills in both Chinese and English
 

SUMMARY

Responsible for New business development, Brand Building Strategies, Identification and segregation of potential Market Segments and Revenue generation through new account development and key account management, also establish and develop good government relation, work closely with various government and related industry associations to facilitate semiconductor industry development in China, manage SEMI China’s government relation activity to strengthen SEMI China’s influence in China industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Fully understand business scope of SEMI China, identify new business opportunity with potential customers, initiate relationship with potential customers and government stakeholders to promote SEMI reputation and business
 Establish and develop relations with local government and associations related industry, build up and maintain the related database
 Plan and organize the SEMI events and delegations to further strengthen SEMI China’s influence in China semiconductor industry
 Promote the SEMI service to potential customers, enhance the SEMI branding and influence in China, also try to get the funding and projects from local government to contribute the revenue for SEMI China
 Cooperate with local government to host the semiconductor forum, facilitate the industry growth in China
 Presenting information, observations, opinions, and arguments
