Manager/Senior Manager- Strategy & Market Development

Job Description

Initiate and lead strategy projects in China, with special focus on the establishment of a framework for standardizing working practices and embedding industry leading tools and methodologies. In doing so we will enable and empower all employees, driving sustainable excellence and innovation through our business to improve effectiveness and efficiency, ultimately improve bottom line profit.

1.Stakeholder relationship development and management
-Develop and sustain trust-based relationships with board members, division heads, and VPs, etc.
-Balance inquiry with advocacy skills
-Cultivate internal and external networks experts normally involving global/regional domain experts both inside and outside Infineon, as well as sub-ministerial government officials

2.Problem Solving and Business Assessment
-Generate issue-based hypotheses regarding high performance and performing appropriate industry and company analyses to achieve strategic insight
-Identify and structure core issues and determine appropriate analyses to test hypotheses
-Determine appropriate level of detail and focus research efforts based on defined set of hypotheses
-Work with key stakeholders to validate issues, hypotheses and work approaches to ensure appropriate focus and buy-in
-Integrate insights and findings across projects and generate creative solutions to address core issues

3.Value Analysis, Insight and Strategy development
-Lead cross divisional and functional team in strategy project, and help team focus analysis based on proposed direction and preliminary hypotheses
-Provide business judgment, logic and creativity to direct business case development and value analyses
-Develop innovative and achievable strategies and operating models by applying established methods and rigorous analytics
-Develop strategies and operating models that affect several business units and potentially structure a broader corporate transformation
-Ensure alignment of strategic recommendations with Infineon overall objectives

 4.Other Tasks
-Manage SIP practices in China: establish clear link to Infineon corporate strategy, optimize the set up and streamline the existing process of SIP; implement and tailor SIP for China
-Build collaboration network in China for SIP; conduct &/or support lead sourcing, lead evaluation and deal execution in China
-Support strategy head and other strategy manager(s) in other strategy projects
-Participate and contribute to regular strategy reviews and other ad hoc meetings in support of China President
-Perform other duties as requested by China President
-Present Infineon (and Infineon position on given subjects) at forum and exhibitions
-Coach and train staff in the area of Strategy and Innovation
-Build and extend both personal and professional network, engaging on regular basis with industrial experts and leaders in the region

Job Requirement

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
-Bachelor degree and above in any discipline, following majors preferred but not a must: business (MBA); Economics;
-Exposure to M&A practices
­Approximately 10+ years in high tech industry; semiconductors, industrial, manufacturing strongly preferred
-Sufficient knowledge of semiconductor products and applications
-Top tier strategy consulting firm experiences highly appreciated
-Minimal 5 years relevant experiences in a leadership role
-Strong process knowledge and mind-set
-Comprehensive Strategy methodologies and tools
-Domain expert on Strategy topics
