Responsibilities:

• Be a technical liaison between chip provider and development team.
• Key responsibilities are assisting the development team and factory production, defining the priorities to vendor, and get the software fixes and do limited testing on those fixes from vendors.
• Support Factory production: Familiar with factory tools, OTP program, Wi-Fi and BT tuning, certifications etc.
• Understand Wi-Fi, BT, codec, and processor low power states architecture thoroughly and work with vendor to address the critical issues reported by test team and development teams.
• Bring-up the vendor provided software, applications on platforms.
• Integrate the software patches/fixes from Vendors, test those fixes.
• Back ground in semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Understanding of Free RTOS is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 6+ years’ experience in software development in Wifi, BT and media codec field.
• Good communicator and strong follow-up abilities. Fluent English is required for reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong trouble shooting skills combined with methodical approach.
• Work on tactical requests with full attention, understand the product development team priorities and translate those priorities to Vendor.
• Up to 30% domestic and international travel
