Background: MSEE , PhD is preferred. Have at least five years of direct design experience in the field of Analog and RF IC design.
 
Job performed:
1. Design, simulate, and verify analog/RF blocks such as bandgap/bias circuit, LNA, mixer, filter, ADC, VCO, and PA. Need to cover both schematic and layout design (physical design).
2.Familiar with different processes employed in RFIC, such as GaAs, BiCMOS and CMOS.
3.Familiar with modern wireless communication standards such as 802.11a/g/n/ac, GSM, WCDMA, WiMAX and LTE.
4.Familiar with EM theory under high frequency operation. Capable of performing EM simulation using industry standard software.
5.Capable of guiding Layout Engineer to direct and finish design from schematic to layout implementation.
6.Capable of operating lab equipment to verify own and others’designs.
 
Desired Skills and Experience:
1.3+ years of direct experience in analog/RF IC design.
2. Fluent with EDA tools such as Cadence Spectre/SpectreRF/Virtuoso, GoldenGate, ADS, Momentum, etc.
3.Good English communication and read/write skills.
4.Self motivated, capable of delivering products assigned timely and individually.
5.Good personality for team work, and good moral/honesty in approaching science/engineering work.
6.Travel abroad required
