Signal Integrity Engineer

Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible for the performance and reliability of the signaling interfaces on HXT silicon verification platform and customer reference board/system for server market. You will work with  hardware engineers, PCB Design engineers, power engineers throughout the full product development life-cycle to deliver best in class PCB design to high-volume manufacturing.
 
Responsibility
• Participate in all stages of HXT silicon verification platform and customer reference board development.
• Own Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) of product and its sub-component development.
• Provide detailed SI and PI design rules for high speed board.
• Drive resolution of SI issues with hardware engineer, PCB designer and system team.
• Work with hardware/verification teams on system bring up and design validation.
 
Qualifications
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in high speed digital design
• Experience should include knowledge of high speed serial standards such as PCI-Express, DDR, USB, SATA, SAS, 10GbE. 
• Experience in signal and power integrity simulation of system boards, including SoC/chipset, DDR memory, and other high-speed communication interfaces.
• Proficiency with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, sampling oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers, arbitrary waveform generators.
• Experience with industry SI simulation and lab tools such as Cadence Sigrity tools, Hspice, TDR, VNA, real-time scope, etc.
