Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following)
?Communicate with vendors or service providers on all new purchase orders and requisition
?Manage and maintain inventory of products necessary to meet requirements of manufacturing operations.
?Develop and implement material supply plans and delivery strategies that will ensure continuity and meet the demand requirements and inventory targets
Education, Skills and Competencies
?Minimum of 5 years material planning experience in the technology industry with direct experience working with Contract Electronic Manufacturers
?BS or BA degree in Supply Chain Management or some college with emphasis of business or engineering
?Understanding of materials management, manufacturing operations preferred
?Excellent English skills in the areas of writing and verbal communications are required
The Product Planner responsibilities include Lantronix PO’s with factories based on forecast. These PO’s will have to be managed for customer demand and inventory position. The components are used in new and legacy networking products.
