Senior Field Application Engineer

In your new role you will:

1. Promote Infineon IPC device (Driver IC/IGBTs/IPM …etc) in customer’s projects and get design in and design win.
2. Solve issues of customer deign to use Infineon IPC products and build up good reputation of Infineon.
3. Knowledge of devices-IGBTs and MOSFETs in power supplies, UPS systems, Solar Inverters, wind converters, Home appliances, traction …….etc
4. Understanding of loss calculations of IGBTs, their efficiencies, SOA, RBSOA, turn on/ turn off behavior, Miller behavior, gate switching characteristics ….. etc
5. Good understanding of different topologies like fly back, forward, 2-switch forward, half bridge, full bridge, 2-level, 3-level inverter and converter, PFC topology….. etc are required.
6. Experiences on designing gate drivers circuit, driver power, relative protection circuits ,electric simulation, and driver’s characteristics are required.
7. Basic knowledge of using analog and digital circuits is required.
8. Able to do trouble shooting for simple problems.
9. Basic understanding market

1. Bachelor/Master in Electrical/Electronics/Power Electronic from reputed Institutes.
2. 5+ years of experience in the field of designing Power Electronics.
3. Knowledge of IPOSIM or any simulation tools like P-spice, Saber, Matlab, Mathcad is necessary.
4. Good aptitude and attitude of hardworking
5. Able to work in cross-function teams.
6. Able to take decisions on technical matters.
7. Have basic product/application knowhow of Infineon product portfolio
8. Communicate in English.
