Synopsys Security IP AE ( Pre-sale)

Job Description:

Security IPSpecialist FAE will provide expert technical support to field applications andsales teams, to drive pre-sales customer engagements of Synopsys’ Security IP(Intellectual Property) products to successful technical closure. The rolerequires working with customers, sales, marketing, corporate applicationsengineering, and product R&D teams from different locations. IP FAE will beinvolved in customer meetings to understand customers’ technical requirementsfor IP, and will be responsible for supporting the engagements via on-site orremote technical interactions and regular meetings, providing demos, supportingevaluations, resolving technical issues, addressing competitive challenges, andregularly communicating status during the engagement. IP FAEs also providefield inputs to product teams on competitive data and new feature requirements,based on customer engagement experiences.

Requirements:

BSEE with 6+ years of relevant experience, or MSEE with 5+ years of relevant experienceUnderstanding of and experience with semiconductor design and/or IP (ASIC preferred, but FPGA is also acceptable)Understanding of embedded hardware and software designProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointHigh initiative and self-starterExperience working in a customer-facing or sales-support roleAbility to travel, to visit customers, sales and engineering teamsStrong technical communication (oral and written) skillsAbility to understand and present complex technical requirements, issues and solutions, in precise and accurate manner, in verbal and written communicationsAbility to analyze, summarize and generate status updates from technical dataAbility to organize, conduct and co-ordinate meetings involving multiple teams, such as customers, sales, marketing, R&D etc.

Nice to Have:

Security expertise, especially platform security, key and certificate management, etc.Understanding of and experience using ASIC/FPGA design flows (HDL, synthesis, timing, place and route, simulation, etc.)Previous experience in security hardware and/or software developmentPrevious embedded system design experienceLinux and Android
