Engages with customers to understand customer roadmap, interpret the technology needs and identify opportunities for Applied engagement.
Drives the adoption of new technology at the customer site. Works closely with customers to demonstrate and introduce new technologies at customer sites, through Demos, on site evaluations, Joint Development Programs and new tool qualifications.
Serves as liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects, ensuring clear understanding of customer issues and delivery of applicable solutions.
When necessary, works closely with customer to optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.
Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
Checks and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.

Manages PSEs providing highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.

Checks and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs Junior PSEs and customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
Oversee training and certification of Junior PSEs into their areas of assigned responsibility
Knowledge of 3 or more processes on 1 or more technologies

Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors (jobs that could be on the C, O, T or B/E band)
Acts as advisor to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.

Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors

Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives.

Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees

Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.

Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules.

Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
