Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications in Milpitas, CA
You would be responsible for promotion of KLA-Tencor's campaigns, corporate messaging and products for the China region. Much of the content for these campaigns comes from headquarters; however, you would also be expected to work closely with the team at KT China and read industry announcements and articles, so that you're well informed and up-to-date on trends in the semiconductor and related industries in China. Specific duties include:
1. Manage the Corporate WeChat channel: suggesting, creating and editing content. WeChat   content categories include:
·            ​    ​    ​Industry trends, overall and China
·            ​    ​    ​Events: upcoming and recaps
·            ​    ​    ​Financial news for KT and the industry (extract China)
·            ​    ​    ​Technical topics that align with current campaigns, such as 3D NAND, EUV, Automotive, Packaging, etc.
·            ​    ​    ​Product launches
·            ​    ​    ​Applications stories (use cases)
·            ​    ​    ​Interviews of key KT China personnel
·            ​    ​    ​Important holidays
     As manager of the   WeChat channel, you would:
·            ​    ​    ​Manage projects, driving US and KT China marketing teams to deadlines
·            ​    ​    ​Create, translate, edit and approve content
·            ​    ​    ​Market the WeChat channel: Make recommendations that drive traffic to our channel
2. Manage content for the KT China external website
3. Find, recommend, manage tradeshows in China
4. Promote Corp Comm messaging using the breakroom monitors in the KT China offices
5. Review, edit any translated content (English to Simplified Chinese), such   as product literature, articles, using the help of colleagues in KT China as needed and driving to deadlines
6. Travel as needed to tradeshows, conferences, other KT offices in China, and headquarters
   
Preferred   Qualifications
·            ​    ​8 to 10 years of experience in corporate communications
·            ​    ​Familiarity with technical terms within semiconductor processing or process control
·            ​    ​Excellent written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English
·            ​    ​Attention to detail
·                Facility with working independently and the confidence to reach out for help as needed
·            ​    ​Strong interpersonal skills, to develop and maintain friendly, respectful relationships with colleagues in KT China and headquarters, our Asia PR agency, SEMI China and other industry associations
·            ​    ​Creativity, energy and drive to make the quality of KT China communications meet or exceed that of KT's peers in the industry    
 
Minimum   Qualifications
·            ​    ​5 years of experience in corporate communications
·            ​    ​Excellent written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English
·            ​    ​Attention to detail
·            ​    ​Facility with working independently and the confidence to reach out for help as needed
·            ​    ​Strong interpersonal skills, to develop and maintain friendly, respectful relationships with colleagues in KT China and headquarters, our Asia PR agency, SEMI China and other industry associations
