Project Manager 项目经理

Job Scope:
As part of a dynamic team, the Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for driving and ensuring successful execution of Synaptics’ customer projects (from opportunistic stage to Post-MP). The PM will work with various company departments (Marketing, Sales, PAE, Engineering, etc.) to successfully plan and deliver on company commitments to customers. The successful candidate would be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
 

Job Responsibilities
? Manage customer project progress and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
? Own/drive customer deliverables, per committed plan and schedule.
? Work with Marketing (or others) to make sure product/feature development is aligned with customer requirements and schedule.
? Manages risks and gets buy-in from management on priorities and key decisions required.
? Ensure that programs adhere to established standards and methodology practices.
? Contribute to processes which reduce risks and improve efficiencies on customer delivery plan.
? Drives plans with third party companies supporting Synaptics’ product integration.
? Proactively build rapport with existing and potential customers.
? Owns communication of customer project priorities, execution and risks; escalates to management as appropriate.
? Know at all times the health of programs/projects, risks and impact to delivery of customer and business value.

Experience/Education Required:
? Bachelor in EE, CS or related field of study and at least 7 years of relevant work experience.
? Engineering exposure/experience.
? Hands-on experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager or Scrum Master
? Experienced in project management tools (e.g. Jira, MS Project, etc.)
? Experience in customer facing projects/activities.
? Leadership experience and ability to influence without formal authority.

Experience/Skills Desired:
? Experience with audio/acoustic product development.
? Strong influence, collaboration and negotiation skills (while identifying win-win situations).
? Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where priorities shift rapidly.
? Someone who loves working with people and solving complex organizational, technical, and process problems.
