Senior Manager, SQE

Job Description
• This position is Senior Manager position to report to HXT operation manufacturing executives
• Drive suppliers to produce the highest quality HXT chips.
• Ensure the supplier is ready for production ramps that are ready to be put into server system.
• Collecting data and compiling supplier scorecards; Present it to suppliers and lead the actions to improve the supplier.
• Willing to understand supplier manufacturing process in details, document their strengths and weaknesses and drive supplier to work towards making a world class manufacturing environment.
• Understand Foundry and OSAT process and should be able to effectively communicate with Design team as well as sustaining Engineering team in case of an issue with part Quality.
• Should be able to tie up quality issues (OQC, IQC, Manufacturing, Field returns etc) with concrete actions at Supplier site (RCA, CA etc).
• Understand supplier corrective actions and be able to describe their experience relative to those processes.
• Interface with functional manager to establish daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals and milestones.
• Carry out supplier quality audits and validate the AVL list matches the approved suppliers.
• Establish HXT SQE team capability establishing and implementing processes for ensuring that all suppliers meet acceptable and recognized industry standards in terms of test, sampling, materials.
• Work with management team to understand and highlight areas where quality and process within a specific supplier can be improved to reduce cost.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• 10+ years experiences in a manufacturing and quality environment for semiconductor industrial.
• Strong semiconductor quality improvement and product qualification background.
• Knowledge of foundry and OSAT technologies.
• Experience working with foundry or OSAT manufacturers on Quality and Process improvement projects.
• Solid understanding on quality tools such as statistical process control, Six Sigma, Lean, process improvements, yield improvements, cycle time reductions, pareto charts, root cause analysis, failure modes, test procedures, gauge reliability and repeatability, CpK (statistical process capability), etc.
• Able to understand how to read and interpret engineering documents.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing processes to control and monitor supplier quality from qualification stage through to mass production
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or similar discipline.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Passionate about learning new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in startups
• Quality or process engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing with server chip production background
• Problem solving skill with 6 sigma or other statistical engineering tools /methodology
• Master or Ph.D degree in electrical engineering discipline .
