Software Engineer-SoC Validation

Position Description:
This engineer position will be responsible for silicon validation work for Huaxintong’s ARMv8 based server SoC targeting data center server market. This engineer will work in Huaxintong Software & System Group and locate in Shanghai.

Main Responsibility:
- Develop validation platform, firmware and script
- SoC & Peripheral bring-up
- SoC & Peripheral pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.
- Bench high speed IO characterization.
- Data analysis and failures troubleshooting.
- Infrastructure and flow/methodology enhancement.

Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of applicable work experience
- Strong program skills in script language, shell, C and assembly language.
- Experience with SoC and peripheral validation and debugging
- Knowledge of PCIe and/or other high speed digital interface standards
- Experience with high speed IO characterization and validation at least one of listed IP like DDR/PCIe/SATA/SGMII/USB;
- Experience with developing automation infrastructure and processes
- Good experience using lab tools such as high speed oscilloscope, logic analyzer, other protocol analyzer and Lauterbach Trace32 is a plus
- Experience with ASIC design/verification/validation is a plus.
- Familiar with bootloader, Linux and low level driver.
- Familiar with high speed PCB design, CPLD/FPGA configuration.
- Familiar with any of the following processors architecture: ARMv8, ARMv7, PowerPC, MIPS or x86.
- Familiar with Git/Gerrit source code management tool.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good teamwork adaptability, good oral and written English skills, self-motivated.

Education Requirement:
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree from China top universities with major on Computer Science, EE or Automation etc.
