Application Engineer

Job Description:
1. Support design-in activities of Touch Screen Controller IC on-site.
2. Release the touch controller firmware and proceed to performance verification with the customer.
3. Execute the touch performance tuning on the display panel.
4. Provide solutions to customer issues and compile necessary information when support from division is required .
5. Work together with divisional AE and Firmware engineer on small customization and additional requirement not covered in the released firmware.
6. Support the customer production with the deployment and customization of the available tools.
7. Support ST Quality team with on-site failure analysis.

Qualification:
1. Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronic Engineering
2. 3-7 years of experience in the electronic industry
3. Good Knowledge of Analog and Digital electronics 
4. Experience with lab equipment (Oscilloscope, Power supply, Multi-meter, Signal generator, etc) and debugging procedure
5. Prior experience on capacitive touch screen controller device and application.
6. It will be an advantage for the candidate to have programming skills for 32-bit MCU and/or the knowledge required to support the system integration of Android device driver.
