RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         Response to validate the system and silicon for internal design teams.
·         Perform the Software and Hardware level test using external and internal AMD test tools.
·         Analyze the failures found in testing and support the internal design team to find the root cause of the issues.
·         Assist validation team in improving the validation methods and procedures.
·         Test software/drivers/hardware, for according to test plan steps and details.
·         Reference design specifications and manuals for AMD's system when testing.
REQUIREMENTS:
·         Excellent PC x86 Architecture experience and excellent system level knowledge of the following: CPU Processor, Memory, PCI-Express, HDMI, DVI, Display Port, VGA, SATA, USB etc.
·         Good understanding of 3D Graphics, video decode/encode a valuable bonus.
·         Computer enthusiasts and excellent knowledge of current leading PC technology.
·         Highly motivated, innovative individual with a keen interest in finding and resolving silicon/platform issues.
·         Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux
·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·         Linux and Windows network setup knowledge. Extensive Linux expertise and experience is a valuable bonus.
·         Perl, Ruby, programming skills and command line scripting preferred.

·         BS + 6-8 years or MS + 4-6 yea
