新产品导入质量工程师 NPI Quality 
 
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:  

• Process ownership for the quality aspects of new product development, qualification, and release to production.
• Working with the product development team starting in the planning phase, review the customer/market quality requirements and define the appropriate quality tools/process/checkpoints (APQP, safe launch, ZD methodologies, qualification plan, etc) to be used to assure a successful launch.

• New Product Introduction
• - Active participation in NPI core teams
• - Perform risk assessments
• - Provide technical direction for defectivity screen development, Design for Reliability, Design for Manufacturability, Zero Defect Initiatives and pre-qualification evaluations
• - Define qualification requirements
• - Assess product qualification risks and make approval decisions
• - Apply statistical methods for analyzing data to evaluate new products and processes
• - Lead product teams through quality issue resolution using problem solving methods

• - Interface with internal and external factories on reliability and quality issues
• - Support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities
• - Define qualification requirements for various manufacturing changes (fab, assembly, burn-in, test)
• - Lead product teams through quality issue resolution

• - Support customers with technical reliability and quality consult
• - Work with customers to address product reliability and quality issues
• - Engage with customers on new products

• - Coordinate and/or Participate in the Change Action Board (CAB)
• - Participate in Material Review Boards (MRB)
• - Coordinate reliability monitor activity and address issues as needed

• - Required Education Bachelors Degree of engineering or science
• - Semiconductor device and processing knowledge
• - Semiconductor failure mechanism knowledge
• - Reliability methods, accelerated stressing and probability statistics knowledge
• - Process control, problem solving and other six sigma tools knowledge
• - Flexibility to adjust to change and multiple ongoing issues in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
