Staff Application Engineer (Job Code: 28520)

Application engineer provide technical support for Charger/Adapter controller IC/Discrete of Infineon in customer’s systems and applications.

In your new role you will:
1.Intensive involvement in local design-in activities with Adaptor/Charger customers including providing system design proposal, preparing customized demo, on-site technical support, customer failure analysis support, etc. 
2.Support new product evaluation in in-house Adaptor/Charger platform 
3.Prepare and co-work for the documentation collateral to support Go To Market in Adapter/Charger solutions 
4.Hands on training to distributors FAE for Adaptor/Charger solution 
5.Provide the competitive analysis of the Infineon products, identify strengths and weaknesses, evaluate the market needs vs product offering deficiencies, contribute in the new product definition by weighting the value of the specific features and parameters to the customers 

Optional:
1.Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives. 
2.Maintain professional business relationships within target accounts. 
3.Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects. 
4.Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
1.BSEE at least and 10+ years of related successful experience in charger and adapter application 
2.Experience in leading a technical engineering team 
3.Solid/outstanding Knowledge of charger and adaptor architectures 
4.Debug from the system level down to the component level 
5.Familiar with operation of all lab related equipment, such as Oscilloscope etc. 
6.Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Chinese
