Senior Staff or Staff Engineer - Assembly / Test Operations

Interface for engineering topics to support IFX outsource assembly sites

In your new role you will:
1.First contact for technical topics and escalations by subcon
2.Provide tactical support to Planning team on assembly yield issues affecting 
shipments and delivery
3.Supports closure of line disturbance, low yield lots and maverick issues
4.Coordinates with PE and Fab team or Quality on wafer related issues
5.Drives subcon Assembly performance index (yield, line disturbances, etc) 
6.Be part of New Product Ramp team and manages safe launch 
7.Drive new subbcon enabling (technical & Supply Chain & IT)
8.Supports technical capability assessments in subcon. 
9.Keep track of subcon capability in terms of process, equipment and package
10.Manage/Coordinate Change Management at subcon 
11.Reviews and Updates Control Plan and Assembly procedures to align to IFX requirements
12.Handles Deployment of IFX initiated assembly procedures and systems
13.Review and approve pre-assembly documentation (eg: Assy spec/BD/etc)
14.Supports FAR activities including analysis of rootcause and improvement 
action in subcon
15.Participate in IFX design/change reviews and provide inputs on key learnings / improvements to incorporate on new products. 
16.Supports VDA and customer audit activities in subcon

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
1.More than 10 years of assembly process experience with specific expertise on any key assembly processes (Die Attach, Wire Bond, Solder Mount/Reflow, Encapsulation, Plating) is preferred
2.At least 5 years of Subcon management experience
3.Good process, assy engineering and equipment maintenance knowledge
4.Knowledge in Package Failure Analysis
5.Basic test process and product engineering know-how is an advantage
6.Able to work well with all level of people (internal & external)
7.Be able to initiate mentoring and guidance to Subcon engineers
8.A team player who is capable of collaborating independently with IFX other cross funtional teams (Quality, Product Engg, Business units and Division, Planning, Development, IT, et al)
