Responsibility:
 Responsible for designing, documenting and implementing sub-systems within the constraints of Keithley system software architecture.
 Participate in creating the product definition by evaluating the intended application and competitive products, generating detailed target specifications, identifying specific requirements of the product.
 Investigate the viability of design approaches, implementation techniques, and the effective use of development tools.
 Learn customer applications and instruments; finish assigned customization projects as needed.
 Effective teamwork and collaborating with headquarter and worldwide engineering, applications, marketing, sales and field support personnel is essential.
 International travel may be needed per customer project requirements.
 Other related duties requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
 The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
Requirements:
 Bachelor or above degree with at least 5 years’ experience in software product development and design position.
 Very experienced in Linux/UNIX programming.
 At least 3 years of C++, C, Java or Python experience.
 Good English skills, both in spoken and written.
 Very strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.
 Quick learner, able to handle multiple assignments for themselves and staff hard working, self-motivated, and assertive.
Preferred Skills:
 Experienced in semiconductor industry software, especially SECS/GEM is a big plus.
