FPGA Application Engineer

Job Description
This Application engineer position is to support the deployment and adoption of Synopsys FPGA-based hardware platforms, will help customers deploy the HAPS Solution, Including Hardware Transistors, Prototyping SW, Partitioning, Synthesis, P&R, and Debug SW, will also participate in pre-sales activity, including technical presentations and evaluations to help grow HAPS business.
  
This position includes providing product training, presenting technical updates and solutions, and resolving technical issues seen by the customer, will also work closely with the R&D and other team to find solutions and resolutions for technical issues seen in the field, and will help drive improvements in product capabilities and quality. 

Requirements
- Expert level engineers with a minimum of 5yrs of proficiency in SoC prototyping/emulation methodologies and technologies, who have demonstrated experience in the complete design validation cycle, driven to help customers achieve their SW validation goals.
- Deep knowledge of RTL synthesis, FPGA implementation, HW bring-up, scripting language, Unix/Linux development environment.
- Deep Knowledge of implementing High Speed interface IP with the GTH and GTY transceivers. Knowledge of key protocols “PCIe, USB, Ethernet, MIPI, AMBA, UART, DDR, flash memories”, processor architecture and their usage in SoC environments is plus.
- Requires good communication skills, especially the ability to communicate technical information effectively and work closely with end users.
- Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills with direct experience in building SoC, IP prototypes and work flow experience with SW team is essential.
