Emulation Application Engineer

This is application engineer to work with Sales Team closely on product demonstrations, evaluations, and competitive benchmarking on Emulation tools. This position plays an active role in account planning jointly with other team members to deploy other verification tools and works as part of the account team to develop solutions to customer problems based on their insight into the customers' needs and issues.

Requirements:
We are looking for expert level engineers who have proficiency in SoC design methodologies and technologies, the candidate can demonstrate experience in the complete design validation cycle, who are driven to help customers achieve their verification and emulation goals.
- MS or PhD majored in EE with more than 5 years of IC design/verification/emulation experiences.
- Familiarity with RTL synthesis, mapping RTL to FPGA gates, scripting language, Unix/Linux development environment.
- Real project experience in ASIC/SoC emulation and good expertise on popular emulators like Palladium/Veloce/Zebu are required.
- Proficient with HDL (Verilog/VHDL), HVL(e/vera/systemverilog), C/C++, Unix, and having a strong understanding of ASIC design flows, VLSI, and/or CAD-engineering.
- Experience on VMM/OVM/UVM and knowledge of simulator-emulator co-emulation are preferred.
- Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills required. Great communication skills and proven ability to help our customers and our organization be successful.
