Senior Engineer-Failure Analysis

Perform failure analysis for semiconductor packages and fulfil quality / ESH system requirement.

In your new role you will:

1. Responsible for performing daily failure analysis work on all external/internal customer complaint return units; ensure the FA work is completed within cycle-time
2. Responsible for daily maintenance, repair and adjustments on assigned failure analysis machines; make sure machine regular PM and PM documents are done before due date
3. Responsible for coaching and training other junior engineers on failure analysis processes, semiconductor knowledge and tool maintenance skills
4. Responsible for developing new failure analysis methods/processes and transferring necessary failure analysis capabilities from counter-part labs within the corporate to Wuxi lab
5. Responsible for communication across the whole organization regarding FA topics

1. Majoring in electrical or electronics engineering; demonstrated abundant knowledge in silicon-based semiconductor device level physics or relevant material properties
2. At Least 5 years experience in semiconductor field; familiar with all kinds of failure analysis tools & equipment and their daily maintenance & repair; experiences in die-level analysis will be a plus
3. Able to show great responsibilities and commitment in the job; able to work over-time on urgent FA request
4. Able to show great teamwork skills and the willingness to coach & train others during daily work
5. Able to communicate effectively across different levels in the organization; fluent in English or German
