Senior Coating Development Engineer

Job Summary: 

• Ability to comprehend, resolve and communicate complex technical issues related to ultrasonic cleaning mask/lift-off and deposition processes
• Comprehend and identify failure modes related to the processes above
• Work with supplier equipment, process integration & quality teams on continuous process improvements
• Analysis and documentation of DOEs
• Support product development, product qualification and release to production at external glass wafer fabrication subcons
• Develop structured deposition (e.g: evaporation/sputtering/spin-coating) processes based on customer requirements together with supplier team
• Drive new product developments at supplier side

• Master degree in Physics or Chemistry
• Very good language skills in Chinese and English
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Knowledge/working experience in resist cleaning /resist lift-off processes involving solvents (i.e. DMSO, acetone)
• Good understanding on glass cleaning processes. (i.e. Ultrasonic cleaning)
• Experience in optical coating processes including PVD, e-beam evaporation and/or magnetron sputtering
• High self-organizing skills and good customer interface skills
• Willing to work in an international team and ability to lead X-functional teams
• Willing to travel frequently abroad including stays for longer periods of time
