FAE Engineer

NVIDIA is searching for an extraordinary FAE with a focus on AI and embedded systems. Your primary responsibilities will be the customer technical engagement for NVIDIA products for systems deployed in robotics and intelligent video analytics.

You will be working cross functionally with our organizations as well as ensuring a positive experience for external customers.

You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, and have experience working with embedded systems.  

You will use your people skills and your technical knowledge to provide design-in support for our embedded GPU AI products in customer systems.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently are essential. Experience with deep learning is a plus, as well as the ability to pick up new technologies and skills.

What you’ll be doing:

• Be a technical expert on embedded AI products directly supporting sales account managers, working closely with the team to secure design wins.
• Actively establish the technical relationship with our customer’s engineers, management and architects at focus accounts.
• Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the embedded AI robotics and video analytics space.
• Provide onsite support to solve problems in hardware and software, and deep learning inference.
• Lead the support of the product through the design-in phase all the way to product end of life.
• Create technical solutions such as hardware & software demos and example system designs.
• Provide technical and sales training to direct sales team and channel partners.
• Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.

What we need to see:

• BS or MS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of work related experience in a high-tech electronics industry in an embedded design role or technical customer support role.
• Capable of working in a rapidly changing environment without losing focus.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very complex projects.
• Strong written and oral communications skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• ARM and NVIDIA GPU development experience.
• C/C++ and Python programming skills.
• Embedded Linux System, APIs and similar embedded OS knowledge.
• Hardware design and knowledge of CSI/DSI, DP/eDP/HDMI, CAN, I2C, I2S, SPI, PCIe, UART, USB, SATA.
• Experience working with OEMs in the embedded robotics or intelligent video analytics space.
• Deep Learning and/or AI experience.
• Advanced degree
