Senior Design Engineer, photodiode

MAJOR ACTIVITIES
1、 Main role in R&D (new photodiodeproducts development)
· Develop new photodiodeproducts based on customer/market request, main tasks include
o Definephotodiode device specification
o Device/processmodeling and process development based on request or tune existing process toimprove device performance/reduce process cost
o PhotodiodeDevice layout design
o Definedevice characterization methods
o Leadphotodiode verification test work
o Testdata analysis and reporting
o Attendcommunication and technical discuss within team and cross-functions
· Take new photodiode productsdevelopment project management task if needed
2、Supporting role for project, manufacturing, Sourcing,quality, production and other work.
· Assist BU and product managers to analyze customer ornew market/application request on new photodiode products.
· Assist project managers to arrange photodiode design,process and verification schedule
· Assist sourcing to select and qualify supplier for new photodiodeproducts manufacturing
· Assist on communicate with suppliers and externalpartners on process/device failure analysis and other tasks
· Support on QC documentation work
· Assist BU and product managers to analyze customer ornew market/application request on new photodiode products.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
Essential
 Specialism in Semiconductor Physics & Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
 Experience in layout design work on CMOS, MEMS or other semiconductor devices with Si or other semiconductor materials.
 Experience in device/process modeling, data analysis method and design software usage.
 Experience in semiconductor device characterization.
 Experience in silicon wafer processing (CMOS, BiCMOS, Bipolar etc), especially in wafer process integration technology.
 Familiar with Si-based semiconductor device knowledge, especially for CMOS device or photodiode device.
 Good written and fluent spoken English.
Desirable
 Research/develop experience in Si-based semiconductor device or CMOS device development is preferred.
 Ability to communicate and work in a multicultural environment.
 Experience in failure analysis of semiconductor material/device.
 Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
 Ability to multi-task and time manage priorities.
Qualifications
 Master or higher degree in Semiconductor Physics & Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
 3-5 or more years’ develop work experience in semiconductor device especially Si-based device design and development, including wafer process development, device/process modeling, layout design and device characterization.
