Design Support Engineer

Job description:
·        In this position, the individual will be responsible for engineering support for NAND flash memory customer issues, with focus on supporting engineering level design debugging, silicon probing, and failure model analysis. 
·        The individual also will be responsible for validating design of NAND flash memory under expected use cases. 
·        The individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.  
·        Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. 
·        A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.  
·        Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.  Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.  
·        Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
 
 
Skill set requirements:
·        Basic NAND flash memory cell device characteristics and operation understanding
·        Ability to read and understand basic analog/digital circuit design schematics and layout
·        Ability to read and understand Verilog coded design, simulate and check waveforms
·        Capability to debug silicon and probe design signals for failure root cause analysis
·        Strong communication skills
