Software Developer Intern

THE ROLE:

SCBU Software Team is delivering system software solution for AMD Semi-Custom products. You'll be working with local Software team and global SCBU functional team on challenging software tasks.   Through the internship, you will learn software engineering flow inside AMD and SCBU group and practice your software skills.

THE PERSON:

• Need to have good C/C++ or python programming skill with software engineering concept, with great passion to learn hardware, Operating System and system architecture. Has good communication skills and be able to work both independently and in a team.
• The Intern should be able to work at least 3 days a week and last for at least 6 months

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop HW features based on design documents
• Test, debug and fix defects on graphics stack or System BIOS stack
• Handle some automation deployment and release tasks

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent English reading skill to understand the details in technical documents, fluent English written and oral skills to express your thoughts and communicate with other team members are required
• Have good software debug experience on Windows or Linux
• Experience with low level programming is highly preferred

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• 3rd year above bachelor candidate or a 2nd year above post graduate student who is major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or Electrical Engineering.
