Hardware Design Engineer/Snr Engineer

Job Description:
-Responsible for various application circuitry design for STB and Multimedia Processor SoCs
-Responsible for PCB design from design entry, to layout, and Gerber generation as well
-Responsible for PCB fabrication (outsourcing), components soldering, PCB board debugging/troubleshooting
-Supporting digital design engineer for FPGA board setup and troubleshooting, etc.
-Responsible for various chip application board/demo board design and making the entire hardware set performance ok and deliverable for customers
-Responsible for various instruments management inside the electronic lab and general test setup for chips
 
Candidate Requirements:
-B.E.(EE) or M.E.
-Knowledge on fabrication is must for PCB
-Proficient in PCB design tools such as PADS, Cadence Allegro etc.
-Experience in DDR3/DDR4 application is MUST
-Experience for high speed interfaces such as serdes is essential
-Good knowledge in DC power supply design
-Good knowledge in various SoC applications, especially STB application design
-Good knowledge in hardware troubleshooting
-Good knowledge about PCB design and fabrication
-Good knowledge about various components and its packages
-Good logical thinking is required
-Skillful on FPGA applications
