Job Description
Process Engineers develop and sustain in thin film CVD area. Plans and implements capacity, and operational improvements to maximize output while improving the safety and quality of operations. As module owner, conducts tests and measurements of their operations to determine control over critical dimensions and defectivity of the process line. Recommends and implements modifications for operating the equipment in order to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and optimizing production output for existing products. Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment. Exercise independent judgement and discretion by making recommendations and adjusting tools and processes reactively when something has changed on the line or proactively in order to maximize output. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
Qualifications
1. Must hold minimum of MS. degree in engineering, material science, physics, or chemistry , 3+ years' directly related experience in semiconductor industry
2. Mastery of principles and working knowledge of various thin film CVD deposition processes and equipment including Novellus Vector Express / Vector Extreme / AMAT Selectra tool.
3. In-depth understanding and familiarity of various CVD thin film material properties and thin film characterization techniques
4. Understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) , able to use software such as JMP, excel to run data analysis
5. Ability to design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize various CVD processes and equipment to meet technology (performance, yield, and reliability) and manufacturing (process stability, cost of ownership, capacity improvement) targets.
6. Must be willing to learn and work in a dynamic/fast paced environment.
