Together with the procurement and development departments, we analyze and optimize manufacturing costs throughout the entire product development process. This is why this product group is strengthened across the board in both cost engineering and purchasing and offers a wide range of applications.
 
What awaits you?
·       You are an expert in the production of power semiconductors or power semiconductor modules and are responsible for the methodical and cost-analytical design and penetration.
·       You have expert knowledge of power electronic circuits and can derive the requirements for their components and present implementation options.
·       Based on your in-depth process and product knowledge, you identify cost-sensitive manufacturing processes and technology issues, evaluate them, and implement the identified cost potentials in supplier workshops.
·       Within the scope of technology projects with a focus on 400V-/800V-systems you will work project-related in interdisciplinary teams.
·       In particular for the early phases of the product development process, you will prepare best-practice calculations for technology-specific components and assemblies, with which you will determine the best possible process and product costs and identify solution spaces for alternatives.
·       In doing so, you will use the technology-specific knowledge base on manufacturing and costing parameters, which you will actively help to expand and update within your technology team.
 
What should you bring along?
·       Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
·       Advanced professional experience in the field of power semiconductors/power semiconductor modules.
·       Experience in working on complex projects with interdisciplinary requirements.
·       Good knowledge of business administration, technology, and manufacturing processes.
·       Fluent in German and English.
