Purchasing Supplier Manager - Outsourced Assembly and Test

In your new role you will:

1. Negotiate prices, contractual terms and conditions of running business and manage contracts with the supplier as well as support outsourcing projects for new business together with Business Development
2. Define supplier related Cost Reduction targets, drive their fulfilment, assess and rate supplier performance and report the status and fiscal year projections
3. Monitor and improve operational performance together with the segment as well as manage supply risks and ensure capacity provision and standards
4. Be responsible for the supplier relationship management – including defining and controlling the communication and driving necessary business related escalations
5. Ensure accurate and smooth purchasing operations and setup and ensure supplier enabling
6. Develop and execute supplier strategy and tactics within Commodity Strategy

1. Have at least 6 years of relevant professional experience in Purchasing or a Sales & Marketing function
2. Gained a degree in Business Management with a technical focus, Industrial Engineering, or a similar program
3. Developed excellent purchasing knowledge and negotiation skills in addition to general knowledge of manufacturing processes, logistics and quality management
4. Are able to clearly communicate and successfully manage relationships both with external and internal stakeholders
5. Have a good understanding of semiconductor production, preferably backend, and have an affinity for technology
6. Have excellent English skills and well verse in Putonghua (speaking, reading and writing)
7. Are willing to travel worldwide on a regular basis
