Senior Hardware Design

Responsibilities
Intel Datacenter Engineering Group is looking for a solid staff hardware design engineer. In this position, you will work with global talented engineer and develop next generation Intel platform server and storage system with leading edge technology, to service rapidly growing Data Center Group business. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Working with architect to define product concept based on input from market and customers, designing critical core technologies and lead hardware technical team on the design of server/storage subsystems
- Represents hardware engineering team as the primary contact on projects. Interacts with senior internal and external stakeholders on complex or wide-spread project issues requiring coordination across organizations and Geos
- Managing outsource design house (ODM) to execute to product schedule and Intel quality standard
- Leading critical product issue debugging, and providing technical support to internal and external customers
- Proactive on innovation and patent submission.
- Maintain design guideline and design process
- Mentoring junior engineer and provide guideline as necessary

Qualifications:
- The candidate should possess a Master degree in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent, with at least 5 years relevant working experience, or a Bachelor of Engineering degree with at least 7 years relevant working experience
- Solid understanding product development process to deliver mass production quality
- Strong digital circuit design skills with experience with high speed digital busses like DDR, UPI and PCI Express
- Solid understanding of IA-32 platform architecture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and able English, able to voicing out with constructive confrontation base on high standard of quality and discipline
- Good influencing and stakeholder management skill including upper management
- Experienced in multi-Geo collaboration
- Familiar with various server related knowledge including BIOS, OS and server management is a plus
