Primarily the Field Engineer will have follow functional responsibilities: Responsibilities -
FAE who reports to FE Director, works with Sales Manager to do as the EIS product presales technical support, technical consulting and product design in/win, major customer is Tier1 customer .
A strong sense of Technical Ownership of Customer, to manage technical resource and other support resource from WDC to come out the right solution to meet customer requirement, keep customer satisfied and improve Total Customer Experience.
Be responsible for providing WDC Embedded and Integration Solution(EIS) product lines, solution portfolios and technological vision to customer together with sales team/marketing team of WDC.
Well communication skill, work with local sales/marketing team and global cross-function teams to define, advocate and drive solutions-related product/feature commitments.
Support some local Global account customers and IDH . Requirements:
Bachelor Degree holder or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline
Minimum of 7 years relevant working experience in field application or related exposure
Have intensive knowledge of embedded system or relevant experience prefer Have intensive knowledge in Flash based products, especially NAND.
Familiar with different operating system on embedded system, e.g. Windows 8, Linux or others
Experience in C/C++ language programming and corresponding tools, e.g. C-compiler, is a must Skilled in using Oscillograph or logical analyzer ,experience in schematic design will be a plus
Cooperative and self-motivated. Strong problem solving and analytical skills on hardware/software issues Able to work under pressure and required to work over-time to meet tight project schedule Good communication skills in both Chinese and English and team work spirit
Frequent travel in mainland China and other countries to support customers are required
